Raypak Pool Heaters, Spa Heaters, and Heat Pumps

Raypak pool heaters are designed for residential and commercial use.

Raypak has over 50 years experience in the design, engineering and manufacturing of all types of commercial and residential pool heaters and heat pumps. Raypak also designs and manufactures copper finned boilers and its products include residential heating boilers, commercial pool heaters, controls and accessories, optional equipment, and utility rebates.

Only Raypak offers pool heaters that are not only the most efficient (up to 82% thermal efficiency) but also include engineering and manufacturing innovations not found in other makes. As a result, Raypak's commercial pool heaters are unmatched for heating efficiency, operating economy, low-cost installation and all-around dependability. And they are fired up and fully tested at the factory to assure their on-site performance.

Raypak commercial water heaters are compact and, through their efficient heating design, the ideal way to heat large quantities of water for both hot water and hydronic applications. Their thermal efficiency is an outstanding 82% and because they have Hot Surface Ignition (HSI) they save on operating costs too. The ceramic fibre refractory panels have an ingenious interlocking design which reduces heat losses and this gives you further savings and the compact design makes them easy to install.

Every heat pump comes standard with a Titanium heat exchanger. The Classic Series heat pumps have been designed to meet the exacting needs of the pool and spa professional. Raypak offers a feature rich entry level heat pump, the Classic Series Analog, which provides rock solid performance at an affordable price. The Classic Series also offers a top of the line Digital product for the customer who demands the best. And for those big jobs and high end pools, the 8320ti is the heat pump of choice.

SpaPak electric spa heaters furnish sustained heat to provide the maximum benefits of hydrotherapy...including stress reduction, relaxation and arthritis/pain relief. When electricity is the energy choice Raypak spa heaters are dependable, trouble-free, performance-proven, with corrosion-free, 100% copper and bronze waterways. Two compact models - 5.5kw and 11kw - built to last by the company renowned for reliability.

After two decades of trial-and-error, the boiler industry has finally realized that high efficiency and long product life can only be obtained by preventing condensation from occurring in the combustion chamber. The Advanced Design Boiler is the first of a new generation of boilers that can obtain ultra-high efficiency without compromising product life. The "secret" to the ADB's longevity is that condensation occurs only in a corrosion-resistant secondary heat exchanger. The ADB is designed so that condensation will not occur in the primary heat exchanger or the combustion chamber. The result is an ultra-high efficiency product that lasts.

Company History

For over 50 years, Raypak has been the world's leading manufacturer of copper finned boilers and heaters. From a modest beginning in 1947 in founder Al Whittel's garage in Southern California, they now supply equipment all over the world from their manufacturing facilities in Oxnard, California and Toronto, Canada, and its licensee in England.

The first manufacturing facility was located in El Monte, California. As a result of the growth generated by the market acceptance of the copper fin design, the factory was moved to Westlake Village, California, in 1970. After two major expansions over the next thirty years, Raypak outgrew the 151,000 square foot Westlake plant. In 2000 the primary manufacturing facility was relocated to a completely new 235,000 square foot building in Oxnard, California, its current headquarters. Raypak expects that the market acceptance of new product designs will accelerate the growth rate that the company has experienced during the last ten years. The state-of- the-art Oxnard facility prepares the company to meet these growth demands.

The design goals are and have always been high quality, reliability and energy efficiency. Adhering to these basics is the reason the reputation of the company is held in such high regard by design build consultants, specifying engineers, distributors, contractors and homeowners, In 1996, Raypak was registered to ISO 9001, becoming the first boiler manufacturer to achieve the highest egistration level attainable.
